|Description:||Join a reputable, first rate child welfare agency serving at risk youth and their families through residential treatment, education, foster care and older adolescent programs. The Office Coordinator reports directly to the designated supervisor. Responsible for the organization and coordination of office operations, procedures and resources to facilitate organizational effectiveness and efficiency. Effective use of verbal and written communication. Effective use of verbal intervention techniques with clients. |
Maintain and update information in a variety of education data bases.
Complete reports required for billing and timely submission to the Business Office.
Troubleshoot problems as they arise.
Prepare daily tasks including attendance, fare cards, reports and other documentation.
Answer telephones (may include switchboard relief) and greet visitors in an appropriate and professional manner.
Perform general clerical duties which may include but not limited to photocopying, faxing, mailing and filing.
Ensure filing systems are maintained and current.
Establish procedures for record keeping
Handle materials of a confidential nature.
Utilize discretion and maintain confidentiality.
Prioritize work to meet scheduled deadlines.
Attend required agency trainings and maintain certifications including CPR/First Aid/TCI.
Participate in the development and implementation of continuous quality improvement activities as assigned.
Demonstrate a commitment to continuous quality improvement in all aspects of the position.
Ability to work effectively with clients and staff in a culturally diverse environment.
Communicate regularly with supervisor, keeping him/her appropriately informed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Must be 21 years of age.
Bachelors degree preferred.
Ability to pass standard agency clerical tests.
Knowledge of word processing and basic computer functions; intermediate to advanced level of computer skills required.
No history of child abuse or neglect.
Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing.
